IEA's ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ; PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College released the results of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ 2015 and ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Advanced 2015 on November 29, 2016. The release marked 20 years of trends for ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ, which was first conducted in 1995. By reaching this milestone, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ earns the distinction of establishing the longest trend line of any international education assessment. Approximately 600,000 students worldwide participated in ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ and ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Advanced 2015, which provide country comparisons in mathematics and science achievement, and comprehensive data on the home and school contexts for teaching and learning those subjects.
